Thanksgiving Dinner in the Fellowship Hall, serving noon – 3 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall! No need to RSVP, meals will be served throughout that time.
Meals will be delivered in Rochester, Dover, Somersworth and Farmington. Please call (603) 332-3131 by November 16th to arrange a meal delivery.
Last year we were spread thin with deliveries, not allowing much time to visit. Please help us get the word out about this ministry and the volunteer opportunities. Many volunteers are needed to host the meal in the building and to deliver!
Call, email or stop by the church to SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER!
Wednesday morning 8- Noon; cut and peel vegetables. Wednesday afternoon 1-4 p.m.; carve turkeys, slice and wrap breads and pies.
Thursday volunteer opportunities include: delivering meals, serving food in serving lines, prepping the delivery meals, clean up or the ever-popular dishwashing. The early times start at 9 a.m. and go in shifts throughout the day. Volunteers are encouraged to sit and enjoy the meal also!
Delivery drivers will be delivering meals to the home bound in Rochester, Dover, Farmington and Somersworth. Usually drivers only have a few stops, so there is time to visit for a few minutes.
SIGN UP TO DONATE FOOD:Â pies, squash, potatoes, canned goods, turkeys, breads, or misc. items.
This annual dinner requires God’s amazing provisions, the whole church, over 40 volunteers from the community and large amounts of food, especially turkeys and pies! All credit goes to God! Four hundred Thanksgiving meals were delivered or picked up last year! This does not include the meals that the volunteers enjoyed, or took home to neighbors and friends. Many that called into the church office were so happy at the prospect of not only a homemade Thanksgiving Dinner, but the visit of a friendly person.
