Our hearts and prayers go out to everyone affected by the
devastating earth quake in Haiti. In this day and age,
it is important to know how to best help those in need.
With so many fake relief organizations, it's important
for
you to know that your help will go to help those really in
need. Below is a letter we received from Brent Carl, a
missionary with an organization we support and trust here at
True Memorial Baptist Church. If you are so inclined,
please pray about donating through Samaritan’s Purse to
help those in Haiti.
Hello everyone,
As you all know by now, the country of Haiti has been
devastated by an overwhelmingly catastrophic earthquake.
There are many relief agencies that are scrambling to send
in aid, and it’s in times like these that I’m so proud to be
associated with Samaritan’s Purse.
Franklin Graham has been doing interviews
and making appeals for assistance and I’d like to help get
the word out to my friends to encourage you to be in prayer
for the people of Haiti and ask the Lord how He may be
leading you to respond in a financial way as well.

I know I’ve only been on
staff officially with SP for a few months, but my respect
for the ministry of SP goes back a long time! One of the
reasons I joined with SP is because of one of the core
values at the heart of the ministry, and that is to respond
to the needs of the world’s neediest people quickly and in
the name of Jesus.
